CBS to present Final Four in 3D

CBS announced Tuesday that it will produce 3D coverage of the Final Four of NCAA men's college basketball tournament that will be carried in more than 100 theaters.

Sean McManus, who oversees the network's sports and news divisions, says the 3D coverage will be a "separate production" from the regular TV coverage.

Ping waives settlement on square grooves

Ping Golf has agreed to allow the PGA Tour to prohibit the use of pre-April 1990 Ping Eye2 irons, which have square grooves that are no longer allowed by USGA rules. The agreement takes effect March 29.

Phil Mickelson created controversy earlier this season when he used an old Ping Eye2 wedge in competition at the Farmers Insurance Open in San Diego. Scott McCarron said using the club was cheating.
